sphinx-contrib-versioning seems to be not yet compatible with
Sphinx>2.0. Pin Sphinx as long as build of documentation keeps hanging.

Information about the job status is displayed in a UI under the settings
view. The information is extracted from the Redis cache.

- require forked version of sphinxcontrib-versioning in CI
- reduce redundancies in .gitlab-ci.yml
- add specific docs test before deployment

Since this module only supports python 3.5+ the mock dependency can
safely be replaced by the Python standard library unittest.mock

- store more information about the job in REDIS
- add more information on the status API endpoint

- login_required must be put below blueprint.route, otherwise the view
can be accessed without authentication
- add tests for checking the login requirement for views

by using the YAML special anchors feature, duplication in .gitlab-ci.yml
