### Core content
When adding terms, you can add content in the order below:
* **labels:** Fields for the main label (the thing that we want to call the term being defined). There should only be one per language. Please do not use any articles ("the", "die", "das" etc) in front of labels.
* **textual variants:**: One can add plural forms, singular forms, acronyms, and abbreviations. If there are several such forms in one language, use a list (described below).
* **synonyms:** Exact, narrow, broad, and related synonyms (following [SKOS semantics](https://www.w3.org/TR/2009/NOTE-skos-primer-20090818/#secrel))
* **IRIs/URIs/URLs:** The IRI, URI, or URL pointing to where the term. HMC IRIs have yet to be created, so a placeholder is fine.
* **definitions:** Here, you can either add a proposed definition (following some good practice recommendations, e.g., [here](https://github.com/EnvironmentOntology/envo/wiki/Creating-good-definitions)) or copy/paste the definition from your source.
* **comments:** Here, you can add a comment expanding on the definition, or qualifying it with caveats etc.
* **seeAlso:** Here you can list one or more URLs that point to other resources that are relevant or worth consulting for the term.
* **contributors:** Here, use the list format (below) to list the ORCIDs of all individuals which contributed to the creation of the definition. This is key information to let us know who looked at the content, to see if we need input from other perspectives.
* **ratification status:** This boolean key will be set to TRUE when a term has been approved for official release. The process for this has yet to be determined. |
