Pagination on Explore pages

Feedback from user testing.

Navigation between pages of terms With all terms (no filters), this shows 3 pages. When I first come onto the page by clicking Explore on the top navigation bar, and then scroll down to this section and go to Page 2 (either using the right arrow or number 2), it loads the second page but this navigation still has Page 1 highlighted. If i then click the right arrow again, it reloads page 2 but now Page 2 is correctly highlighted. After this, it all seems to work properly, it is only a problem the first time using the navigation after loading the page fresh. Same problem if I load the Explore page then click the Page 3 button - it loads page 3 but the navigation still shows Page 1 highlighted. I can then click the right arrow and it takes me to Page 2, so it’s still behaving like it’s on page 1.

To do:

  • remove 'Active Page' on bottom of Explore page (see image 20241203_ExplorePagination)
  • rename 'Per Page Limit' to 'Terms Per Page' (see image 20241203_ExplorePagination.PNG)
  • when go to second page of results make sure page 2 is highlighted in arrows directly (see example from google 20241203_ExamplePagination
  • when click page 3 button verify that highlight is on the number 3 directly (despite content being correctly displayed)
