Doubled pipeline triggering for MR

Issue: If a branch is part of a MR, pushing to that branch triggers two parallel pipelines at HZDR (one with two stages and one with five).

The shorter pipeline seems to be useless. So far, I cancel the two step pipeline manually.

Example: Short pipeline (cancelled) vs Long pipeline (successfully finished anyway)

Proposal: Should the branch-only pipeline be deactivated? I reckon it is never needed: As long as no MR is started for a given branch, one could dismiss any pipeline triggering altogether.
