Subsite: HIFIS Courses (-> ext. zu events.hifis.net)

@jandt-desy @englae39 ändern wir etwas auf events.hifis.net? sonst kann das Issue eigentlich weg, dann ist es mit funktionierendem Link im Hamburger-Menü erledigt

Problem sehe ich noch, dass es einmal HIFIS Courses und einmal Upcoming events im Hamburger-Menü gibt, die aber letztlich auf die gleiche Seite führen

I understood the difference as follows: one is courses or further training. But Teach, for example, would be understood as an event. I would recommend to abandon the duplication and to delete event.

Hi, in my understanding, there is a difference:

• "Courses" links to Software Cluster-guided education courses, where Helmholtz people can subscribe, with course-specific topics
• "Events" is a larger scope, including community events, HIFIS conference, TEACH etc etc.

IMO we should separate these two. However one could think about rephrasing and/or reshuffling the categories in events.hifis.net, if there are specific proposals.

Are events also communicated via HIDA platform? I mean not, so we have a justification for the point. However, the separation is fuzzy for me. Can we find a better term??

• I suppose that HIFIS events announced on HIDA course catalog should(!) be equal or a subset of the Hamburger-Link to "Courses"

• The Events-Link includes the former, but additionally community / HIFIS-only events that are not necessarily courses and not necessarily announced via the HIDA page.

Yes, that is correct. Any event that is announced via the HIDA course catalog is also present at events.hifis.net, so it is a strict subset.

• PLUS add subpoint under Documents -> Past Events , linking to /events (for archiving)
• Adapt header of that page accordingly. [UJ]: Preferred to use "Events Archive", analogous to News Archive
