[glossary] Term "kernel information profile" in gloss of persistent identifier is not explained anywhere else in the glossary
There is a little bit of an explanation in an accessory clause, but one of my colleagues perceived the mention of the term "kernel information profile" without more explanation as confusing.
The gloss of PID which I am talking about:
A persistent identifier (PID) is a long-lasting reference to an object. Some persistent identifiers are linked to kernel information profiles which provide metadata or information about that object when the persistent identifier is resolved.
