(Design) Landing page

In the process of recreating the frontend we need a new landing page.

The landing page has the following criteria:

1. See all different categories (e.g. Software, License) - should be a flexible design number of categories is flexible.
2. Description about the InformationPortal, probably 4 sentences (writing a description is not necessary, filler text (e.g. lorem Ipsum) is enough)
3. Implement new HMC Logo
4. Button for GitLab synchronization
5. Search functionality includes the view if somebody searches for something.

My personal opinion on the landing page design:

Maybe we can find a UI design solution without the manual GitLab sync at some point.

Do you mean "hub" instead of "view" here? Is the hub the most important search criteria? I am a little bit hesitant to have a single filter with a "quick search" if we can have all kinds of filters in a dedicated advanced search. But maybe it still works out and as long as we don't have that advanced search, we can definitely keep a single search filter next to the search bar.

Here is the first Mockup for the landing page. The resources/buttons can be found in the second screenshot. More details about footer and header can be found in the specific issue ( #16 (closed) ). Feedback is very welcome!

Here are two-options for the resources. You can decide which one you like most, both are consistent with the HMC Coporate Identity.

All stylistic elements (e.g. fonts, logos) can be now found here.

Okay so I didn't find anything in the HMC-Brandstyle Guide. But I looked up the Helmholtz Styleguide, they use Pill Buttons. I suggest using them.
