Misleading "Device Property"

In a short SMS hands-on round with our technicians (= future SMS users) we stumbled across the device's "properties".
As they were filling in the data for an examplary device, no one could even begin to guess right what is meant by it (without clicking on it and finding measured quantity as a field).

So as a consequence we should think about a more intuitive naming. Suggestions were - instead of "Properties":

  • Parameters
  • Variables
  • Quantities
  • Measured/Measurement Parameters/Variables/Quantities

I would keep it short (no Measurement/Measured) and I personally would prefer Variables since that fits better from the definition.
But since somehow Parameter is more established (AWI uses it in this context as well as our technicians) and that might also be because of the context since the measured value is also defined by the instrument measuring it I would go with "Parameter(s)".
Measured Quantity on that level would also be fine, but without Measured or Measurement, Quantity would be to generic.

What do you think @daniel.sielaff , @martin.abbrent, @kotyba.alhaj-taha, @mhanisch , @nils?
