How to integrate new TSM models

Upfront: this is not about how to do this technically but how the development process is intended to go.

At the moment, I see a "kit-implementation" branch, which is both behind and ahead of main. Besides, this is a KIT-IMKIFU implementation, not a generic KIT implementation. That raises the question if we want to go in that direction, i.e. having many specific implementation of the general model? Should we maybe do this in forks? To put this into perspective, I think having the possibility of making specific implementations is a good thing, since at least for the KIT-IMKs, the data and sensors we have are pretty diverse.
