Map component

For organisations, RSD profiles often include a link to Google Maps to display the respective location. This could be used for multiple map-based features in the RSD:

1. Filter for organisations

Extend the available filters for the organisations page by a map that displays the locations of available organisations:

• Show name and basic information in tooltip on hover
• Open organisation page on click
• Provide filter options for regions and organisation type

This would provide an alternative overview over organisations based on regions. With a growing number of organisations using RSD, this could also be an apt interactive visualization for the landing page.

2. Show network of involved organisations for projects/software

On a software or project page, display a map with a zoom level that includes all involved organisations, with location markers connected in a graph to highlight cooperations.
