Some SPs already have established a local announcement process with predefined text modules and existing mailinglists for maintenances etc. So our template may not be suitable for them, or they may not want to create duplicate announcements emails. In these cases, it would be good to add an alternative option with the simple option to add cloud-notify@hifis.net to the respective recipient list. To include also these partners my suggestion would be something like:

Procedure

Option A) Send a plain text ..... ....

Option B) If you already use a local announcement process and cannot use our standardized template, please add cloud-notify@hifis.net to your existing recipient list. HIFIS will then forward the announcements to the standard channels.

For sure, many details of the process can improve. I would like to discuss next steps in our Cloud weekly.

At the moment, I would agree to publish the new mailing list.
