The most promising candidates so far are e.g. JupyterHub, OpenStack, GitLab, Storage on demand, Sync&Share, Kubernetes, Redmine, LimeSurvey, Mattermost, Rocket.Chat, Zammad, Singularity, etc.
The services proposed by the Helmholtz centers during the service survey in 2019/20 were evaluated according to defined service selection criteria. In order to conduct the evaluation, exclusion as well as evaluation criteria were made up. Afterwards, the services went through three iterations to filter out the most promising services. Each step examined the services in more detail.
