Tips for Windows command line tools
The Windows Terminal is an open source (https://github.com/microsoft/Terminal) terminal application by Microsoft that supports tabs, unicode, emojis and (configureable) keyboard shortcuts. It can even mix tabs of PowerShell, Ubuntu, etc.. I highly recommend it over the default terminal, or the Git Bash.
Two more tips for opening terminals:
- Shift + right click into a folder (shows more options, including various terminal options)
- Typing "cmd" or "wt" (for Windows Terminal) into the address bar of the file explorer (one can even do things like
activate myenv && jupyter notebook
)
